Some analysts are starting to question the Chicago Bears' process of deciding on Caleb Williams so early in the process. This is what happens when we have months to dissect NFL Draft prospects. Analysts, fans and probably even teams' scouting departments go through a bit of fatigue. This is what causes us to see guys like Zach Wilson jump up teams' draft boards. This is why we see Drake Maye drop down other draft boards. It isn't just the QB position either. Every year, multiple prospects at many positions unjustly rise and fall. Louis Riddick was one of these analysts who apparently spoke to some personnel person within the NFL who is shocked that Chicago is not being scrutinized more for how they decided what direction they were going at QB weeks ago while many find how Washington is handling their situation at QB with what appears to be very little direction as dumbfounding. Again, offseason fatigue is at play here.
