It’s great to see that the Houston Texans are on their way to getting a rebuild right. Even when they were contending less than half a decade ago, the roster was often carried by the front four and quarterback Deshaun Watson. Now that Watson has been traded to the Cleveland Browns, the Texans are set up well here, with five picks in the first 80 selections of the 2022 NFL Draft. The Texans found a way to retain two of their most impactful veteran players in Laremy Tunsil and Brandin Cooks, both of whom were talked about as trade targets all offseason. Tunsil and Tytus Howard have expectations to be the guys at the bookend tackle spots in 2022. Quarterback seems unlikely in this draft with Davis Mills impressing in year one. They have other young playmakers in Nico Collins and Brevin Jordan.
