There are less than two weeks to go until the 2022 NFL draft begins. The Kansas City Chiefs have 12 draft picks after the Tyreek Hill trade, giving them plenty of ammunition to move up and be selective at various points of the draft. They also have an abundance of needs heading into the draft, perhaps more than in any single Brett Veach draft before it. With that in mind, I don’t expect the team to be overly aggressive about trading up for a player. Should they find an opportunity to move up a few spots in the first round to acquire a blue-chip player without giving up both first-round draft picks, they should be jumping at the opportunity to make that trade.
