The Los Angeles Chargers are right there. They knocked on the postseason door last season, only to fall short on the final game of the season. Still, the positives from 2021 felt immense. Brandon Staley, despite the think-pieces and takes about his fourth down calls, is the leader for that locker room. Justin Herbert is a superstar. Rashawn Slater is too. Now, the Chargers add a bundle of names to a defense that struggled against the run late in the season. Khalil Mack gives the Chargers a ridiculous edge duo, and J.C. Jackson instantly makes the secondary better. Austin Johnson and Sebastian Joseph-Day should help shore things up on the interior.
