After the New Orleans Saints free agency period, they’re going to need some serious help to stay atop the NFC South. With a 12-4 record, the Saints won the division for a fourth consecutive season in 2020. They were eventually defeated by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a team they beat twice in the regular season, in the divisional round of the NFC playoffs. It was a brutal end to Drew Brees career. Not to mention, the Saints, in some ways, went all in to make sure Brees has the pieces in place to make one last run. This offseason, they were forced to shed many of those veteran chips they brought in.
