The Jacksonville Jaguars have an opportunity to remake their roster and get their franchise back on track this offseason. It all started with the hiring of Urban Meyer who will take over as the head coach of the team after a long and successful career in college football. Meyer is one of the most respected coaches from the college football ranks but he has never coached at the NFL level. It will be interesting to see how his style translates. Jacksonville was able to make some interesting additions in free agency but they did so in a relatively responsible matter. The Jags’ major free-agent additions this offseason included cornerback Shaquill Griffin, safety Rayshawn Jenkins and wide receiver Marvin Jones. All three of these players will come in and make an immediate impact but the Jags appear to want to primarily build this team through the draft.
