The big story heading into the 2025 NFL Draft is the steep drop off in the number of quality quarterbacks available compared to the previous year. Six quarterbacks went in the first 12 picks in 2024. Only two — Miami’s Cam Ward and Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders — are first-round locks, and we might only get one more in the first round. But how do those two stack up compared to last year’s class based on what we thought of them as prospects? We’re going to take hindsight out of the equation because while we know how good guys like Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix are, we won’t know how Ward and Sanders will look in the NFL for at least seven or eight months.
