The NFL draft took a bit of a back seat this past week in the NFL world, as the new league year started. With it came the frenetic free agency period that saw a ton of roster upheaval from the 2023 squads. For the Minnesota Vikings in particular, a lot of key players in 2023 — and for the past few years for the team — departed, including quarterback Kirk Cousins and outside linebacker Danielle Hunter. The new year also saw the Vikings pull off a trade with the Houston Texans to acquire the 23rd pick in the NFL draft — the Vikings second pick in the first round. Is the team planning on packaging those picks to move up for a quarterback?
