The Draft Network

● By Justin Melo
The Kansas City Chiefs failed to execute the three-peat, losing Super Bowl LIX 40-22 to the Philadelphia Eagles. Starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes committed multiple turnovers as he was under constant duress. The Chiefs will now enter the offseason attempting to improve their weaknesses. They risk losing several big-time contributors to free agency this offseason. Players on expiring contracts include right guard Trey Smith, linebacker Nick Bolton, safety Justin Reid, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, and defensive lineman Tarshawn Wharton. Chiefs general manager Brett Veach will possess the No. 31 overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft. They own four top-100 picks in total. A high-quality draft class would help Andy Reid's squad return to glory in 2025. We've conducted a seven-round mock draft that achieves that.
