The New York Giants were the surprise team of the 2022 season making the playoffs after going 4-13 in 2021. Unfortunately, though the team had another disappointing season in 2023 finishing 6-11. To get back to the playoffs the Giants will need to improve in several areas. On the offensive side of the ball, they need to add more targets to the passing game that finished 31st in the NFL last year. They also need to rebuild their offensive line which gave up five sacks a game, and will likely look for help both at tackle and offensive guard. If that were not enough the team will also likely lose their top playmaker Saquon Barkley who is scheduled to be a free agent. On the defensive side of the ball, the team also needs to upgrade in several areas. One of the more pressing needs is cornerback as the team could lose Adoree Jackson in free agency. The Giants will also likely address a rushing defense that finished 29th in the NFL last year.
