The elephant in the room for the New York Giants organization still has to be the monstrous contract the team gave QB DANIEL JONES before the 2023 season. Most personnel people around the League still have a hard time understanding that move, which still looks ill-fated for a franchise that had shown much promise under first-year Head Coach Brain Daboll in 2022. And to compound the error, the team just lost SAQUON BARKLEY, their top offensive weapon, to the Eagles in the early 2024 VFA stampede. On the bright side, the Giants did acquire BRIAN BURNS, one of the NFL’s top young Edge Rushers for not much more than a second-round pick and a 6-Pack.
