The Jacksonville Jaguars had the worst record in the NFL last season at 1-15 and after losing to a team many predicted to be the NFL’s worst this year, it’s very likely that they will have a very high draft pick come April yet again. Trevor Lawrence was pretty underwhelming in his debut as he threw three interceptions, however, he also made some throws that showed why he was the number one pick, so one bad game really shouldn’t be very concerning for Jaguars fans. The biggest issue is that the team around him didn’t do him many favors and they did not put him in a position to succeed. Moving forward it is essential that the Jacksonville Jaguars spend their draft picks wisely to build a roster around their young quarterback.
