The Denver Broncos had a dream start to their 2020 season, ripping off three straight wins to gain early momentum. Teddy Bridgewater had a great start as well, looking more confident throwing it deep while the defense suffocated opponents. However, that should’ve felt like a formality agains the Giants, Jaguars, and Jets. Once the Steeles, Raiders, and Ravens came calling, the honeymoon phase ended quick. After a loss against the woefully undermanned Browns, it might be time to look towards the 2022 NFL Draft. The quarterback position will of course dominate the conversation, as Bridgewater and Drew Lock aren’t the answer. The Broncos could look at the bridge route with plenty of veterans potentially hitting free agency. Passing in the first round might be the right move considering the looks of the quarterback class at the moment.
