Well, well, well. We are finally here. Well — sort of. Although the official start of the NFL Draft season is arguably the Monday after Super Bowl Sunday, this year we’re starting a little early. As one of the many sad souls that calls himself a Dallas Cowboys fan, my team will not be in the aforementioned game. Or even the playoffs for that matter. That’s all thanks to Tyrant Boy himself, Jerry Jones. But that’s a story for another day… The silver lining to it all is that I didn’t have to falsify my hopes and dreams for the fourth January in a row, only to be let down for the 500th time in a row. I can focus on my real love for the sport: the NFL Draft. For the first time since 2018 (not debatable), there isn’t a clear cut prospect to be taken first overall. Although this may change as we draw closer to that Holy Thursday (not April 17th — The equally if not more important Thursday a week later), there is little certainty on what player or even what position will start us off.
