It’s Draft Week, and NFL teams are hunkered down for the final countdown to Thursday night at 8:00 p.m. EST. Some teams gave their people the weekend off in anticipation for a lot of busy days and sleepless nights, but now, it’s time to finalize everything. Big boards are set, but there may be one or two new pieces of information that come in to affect things, and general managers are talking trades. Teams will also gather opinions from others in the room to ensure that everyone’s on the same page with their prospects… and if not, why not? Here at Touchdown Wire, we’ve endeavored to do our own cross-check with the addition of Jeff Risdon, our good friend from Draft Wire. In this mock draft, Jeff has the odd-numbered picks, starting with No. 1, and I have the even-numbered picks. It’s always fascinating to bring in another voice for these final evaluations, and this is no exception.
