Since February, we have spent countless hours discussing, arguing, and watching film on our favorite college prospects as they prepare to enter the league. As a podcast host, I’ve been blessed to interact with many sharp football minds throughout this process. My show has a lean towards the Commanders, so the constant argument has been Jayden Daniels versus Drake Maye at number two overall. But I’ve also learned a lot about other prospects and team needs. Below you will find my predictive mock for the 2024 NFL Draft. It is my best guess on what I think will happen this Thursday night. It is also my official entry in The Huddle Report’s annual contest. As you can see, I have three quarterbacks going in the top-five. And, a (maybe) not so surprising trade up by the Minnesota Vikings to snag JJ McCarthy. I also have 20 offensive players selected in the first round. It may sound a little crazy, but I think there’s a real possibility.
