It’s mock draft season. Sure, the NFL playoffs are about to begin. Yes, teams are still sorting through firing and hiring coaches and front office executives. But for everyone in the NFL without a dog in the fight (and probably even many members from franchises that do) in the postseason, there’s something big to look ahead at: the 2022 NFL Draft. With the order of non-playoff teams set in stone (until blockbuster trades between now and late April, of course), let’s play out how the entire first round could go this year. The Giants (No. 5, No. 7), Jets (No. 4, No. 10) and Eagles (No. 15, No. 16, No. 19) can control the first round. Draft order for playoff teams is based on current record, but will change based on results of games to come.
