The playoffs are now approaching, and with several teams eliminated from postseason contention, it’s time to conduct another 2022 NFL Mock Draft. Everyone believes that they are an excellent general manager and can do a job that 32 individuals currently occupy. From the couch or the chair, it looks easy. But it is not. Careers, families, and fortunes all ride with a single selection. One wrong move can be the difference between a championship or unemployment. However, speculation is part of the game, and the excitement or uneasiness is contagious. All preamble aside, here it is. A mock draft where the first round is filled with surprise, aplomb, and picks that may have fans calling for the GM’s head.
