Mock draft season is finally here! I’m excited to finish my first one of the 2022 draft cycle. This class is shaping up to be an intriguing one. While it is lacking in elite offensive skill players, namely quarterbacks and running backs, there is a ton to like on the defensive side. There are six defensive prospects I have coming off the board in my first 10 selections. A couple of important notes. I am still working my way through film as the 2021 college season rolls on. This is a very early look at how I think these players stack up roughly in late October. That is going to change a lot by April. Honestly, this might just be a better look at what needs are beginning to show up for NFL teams through the first seven weeks of the season. Another thing, this draft order is updated through Sunday Night Football according to Tankathon. If you don’t like where your team is picking, take it up with them. It’s based on the current league standings. Alright, enough waiting, let’s dive into this 2022 draft class.
