Saying the New York Giants need to address the quarterback position is an understatement. Eli Manning was given one more shot to prove he can still play. New York drafted a generation running back and a guard in the first two rounds and gave Nate Solder $15.5 million guaranteed to play left tackle. Could Manning survive with an offensive line compiled of solely Pro Bowlers? Possibly, but that’s obviously unlikely to happen. Is this the best offensive line New York could have provided for Manning? That’ll be a major question going forward after the team stuck with former first round pick Ereck Flowers, who has since been cut. New York has allowed 20 sacks, tied for fifth-most in the NFL.
