With pro days underway across the country and the sporting world’s focus turned toward next month’s NFL Draft, we’ve entered peak mock draft season. From straight up 1-32 first-round projections to trades and multi-round mocks, the same 50 or so names are shuffled up and down boards as scouts and the media alike attempt to forecast the draft. We love mock drafts at 247Sports. But even we’re already getting 2021 fatigue. Instead, let’s turn toward 2022. This is a way-too-early big board for the 2022 draft. It’s both a way to identify next season’s biggest college stars and highlight those with the traits and skillsets that easily project as first-round picks.
